why Greencastle ?
The State of Indiana chose Greencastle as one of the first-ever recipients of Stellar Communities funding for good reason. As Lt. Gov. Skillman said, the City “has a plan to become Indiana’s next great college town” and its partnerships with DePauw University, private developers and arts organizations made its proposal truly stellar.
But aside from the outstanding, collaborative proposal that the community pulled together for Stellar Communities, so many other people and things make Greencastle a great place to live, work and raise a family.
The following organizations and their leadership not only assisted with the Stellar Communities planning, they’ll also be involved in implementation in the years to come. They’re why businesses choose to locate here and people choose to move here.
Thanks to Stellar Communities, Greencastle’s future is even brighter. Click here to learn more.
