The Human Resources aspect of the role focuses on employee relations, managing employee benefits, and maintaining compliance with labor laws. The accounting responsibilities include managing all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable within the City. By balancing these two critical functions, the Human Resources and Accounting Assistant serves as a key liaison between employees and administration, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration within the City.
