Meet Sam

Sam is a female senior Akita! She loves everyone she’s met since being abandoned at our gate. She walks great on a leash, keeps a clean kennel, and knows all her basic commands! She is very quiet and is often spotting laying down in her big outdoor kennel. She is dog selective and would honestly do best in a home without other pets. She is not cat/small animal friendly. She loves to go on car rides though and has so much love to give! We would love to find an adopter with previous experience with the breed!

To set up a time to meet Sam, please call the Humane Society of Putnam County at: 765-653-1943, or email them at: hspcanimals14@gmail.com.
